I will continue to do what I do here, but with references to the new book over the coming weeks. Words seem inadequate in meeting our moment right now, no matter how well strung together. With all the Israel-Palestine-Iran-US-Trump-Putin-Netanyahu-and-militarized-ICE/law enforcement bullshit, things really do look so bad everywhere. Yet words really are the only weapon at my disposal, and if I really think on it, have been my primary way of holding myself and those who have abused me, my family, and the world accountable, and for the past 49 years. There may be a day I have to do more than merely write and protest. I hope that day never comes. Until then, though, I can only do what I can do, to inform, to entertain, and maybe, even to move readers, anyway I can.
